Hey! happy Father's Day all you fathers out there! I sure love mine!
This week was good! For some reason everyday some new strange thing
occurred. Whether it be freak rainstorms from nowhere, appoints being
cancelled left and right, plans changing everyday, or huge spiders
falling from our doorstep or swinging into the doorways while we are
housing. Either way it was a fun week! Working in a trio is super fun!
I learn so much from my comps everyday.
We had interviews with President Nakatsuka yesterday. I love him! He
is such a good example of a humble disciple of Christ. I want to be
just like him! He talked to me about how the small and simple things
we do bring about great results. He shared D and C 123:16-17 with me.
16 You know, brethren, that a very large ship is benefited very much
by a very small helm in the time of a storm, by being kept workways
with the wind and the waves.
17 Therefore, dearly beloved brethren, let us cheerfully do all things
that lie in our power; and then may we stand still, with the utmost
assurance, to see the salvation of God, and for his arm to be
revealed.
it is really true! If we do everything we can, cheerfully, even if
they are just little we will see great effects!
I love this work and the people of Japan. It is going by way to
quickly! I love you all too and hope you have a great week!
