First let me just say...BAPTISM!
Our korean investigator Haewon San got baptized on Saturday and was confirmed a member of the church on Sunday!
So monday, gave myself a haircut...
Tuesday our phone broke...
Wednesday we tried to fix our phone and try to find a payphone. Those things are in the strangest places here in Japan. We searched and searched forever! Turns out there is a payphone one street over from our apartment...
Thursday met this super cool old investigator who speaks english. She loves the missionaries and will do anything for them! Except join the church haha...
Friday finally a normal day...
Saturday- So we didn`t have Haewon San`s number written down and since out phone was broken we weren`t able to contact her. So I got her address from my old comp and we treked out to her apartment that morning to talk to her. She wasn`t there... so we left her a note. I don`t know if I have ever prayed so much. She is amazing, but the week before a baptism Satan really works on everyone so we were worried about her! We go to the church to get ready for her baptism which started at 5. She finally showed up at 430. I was so grateful and relieved! She had to go under twice, haha, but she said she was happy because the first time was too fast. After the baptism she fed us a SUPER good vegetarian meal at her apartment.
Sunday she received the gift of the Holy Ghost, it was super cool because she got it in English and she was just so happy after. Also two other investigators came to church! We were really suprised because one of them really doesn`t like coming. We didn`t even ask him this week he just showed up!
So this week was super crazy and super stressful. It is true that right before you see blessing the adversary works really hard against you. Heavenly Father also tries our faith. But, it is because of these experiences that we become stronger. I am so thankful for the opportunity to be a missionary!
I Love you all and hope you have a great week!
