Rice Cheeks, the Epitamy of Normal‏

So, I am not sure if I always could, or I am just being paranoid, but as I read my scriptures in the morning I can see my cheeks... Rice Cheeks they are a thing.
Also whilst in the midst of working and talking with my comp she tells me I am the epitamy of normal... I don`t know if that is a compliment, or I should be offending by how boring I my be? Anyway, it made for a good email title!
This week was good. FULL of miracles. One of the biggest miracles is that we make it where we need to go and that we make it back to the apartment and the end of the night!
This week was just a really full week trying to meet investigators we haven`t and find new ones. But, the biggest miracle of this week is our dear sweet Heawon San! Our Korean investigator. She had her baptisimal interview last week and passed with flying colors! She is going to be baptized this saturday! I feel so blessed to know her.
Heavenly Father works in small, simple, and usually mysterious ways, but He is a God of Miracles. We may not recognize those miracles now, we may not realize them until heaven, but they are there. We just have to exercise our faith.
Sorry Mom, I don`t have pictures this week...I will take some this week for sure!
I love you all and I hope you have a great week!

Everyday is just one Big Adventure!‏

This week was awesome!
We went to Saporro for Zone Training Meeting, Zone Conference, and the Snow Festival!
Our confrences were really good! I learned a lot about how important it is to teach with the Spirit. We also got to watch the movie Meet the Mormons. SO GOOD! People are amazing. If you haven`t seen it I recommend it!
Then we went to the Snow Festival! It was crazy! The main street is just packed with Snow Sculptures! I have no idea where all the snow comes from, but it was really cool. There was also a point when the gospel choir was singing and all the missionaries were just joining in and the main lady just loved us! I am pretty sure people thought we were intoxicated Americans... but, we were actually just really happy missionaries singing about Jesus!
Our Korean investigator Heawon is still the coolest person I have ever met! We had our last lesson last night before she gets baptized, and at the end she prayed for us in english. She said how much she loved us and how much she loves God, and how thankful she is that we found eachother. Unfortunatley, she is going back to Korea after her baptism. But I feel so incredibly blessed for the opportunity to know her! I love her, and I love all of you!
Being a trainer is interesting... I have no idea what I am doing and I still can`t speak or understand Japanese so basically everyday is a huge learning experience, and just one big Adventure.
I love you all!
Sister Kempner!

Announcing the birth of my...BEAN!‏

So it happened. I am now training... Dang it.
I really have no clue what I am doing, but whatever, I guess!
My MTC comps also became sempai. So we hit the ground pretty hard, but we can do it!
But, I got to stay at the mission home with all the trainers and the beans and have testimony meeting. It was super awesome!
My bean`s name is Sister Barr, she is from Idaho and she is the best! She is SUPER patient with me which is soooo needed, because we have no clue what is going in. But it is fine, we can do it.
Our Korean investigator now wants to get baptized on her birthday a week early! She is so prepared it is crazy!
Don`t have much to say this week! But, I know that through the enabling power of the atonement we can do whatever Heavenly Father needs us to do!

LOST...but found!

So this week was crazy busy!
I went on splits with the STL`s. I got us super lost. We were out in
Higashikawa which is super county. There is nothing out there! We were
walking around for literally 5 hours. She stops me and says we need to get
inside I can`t feel my fingers. But, don`t worry everyone we found it and
we are still alive.
So the found part of the title has to do with our Korean investigator. She
is as golden as they come! She understands english better than Japanese so
i got to talk to her about the Restoration in English. It was really cool.
Our lessons are amazing! Language is kind of a struggle, but the Spirit
isn`t restricted by language. We were talking about the apostasy and she
looks at me and asks `Is the a solution?` And I said YES THERE IS!!! THIS
GOSPEL! Anyway, she has a baptism date, and she is amazing!
We also made two other baptisimal dates this week! Apparently good things
always happen the last week of the transfer!
I have learned this transfer. That sometimes the Lord tests you and tries
you to see how for you are willing to go. And when you have been adequetly
refined and humbled then He blesses you.
I know this church is true!
I love you all!
